If I go to investigate a sound coming from my yard or garage in the middle of the night, I'm going with a pistol wearing a weapon light. When I light up a criminal, if he's in possession of a weapon and that weapon does anything but drop to the floor, he's threatening me and I have the right...no, the obligation to plant two rounds center of mass. That's called self defense, and it is still legal in Ohio and everywhere else in the US.
